ExpressionEngine users in Ireland

A call out to any ExpressionEngine users in Ireland. I am trying to gauge if a get-together of some sorts would be a viable excuse for a few drinks and exchange of ideas.

Indeed if anybody feels the need to travel overseas for such an event then show your interest below

Hey I’m not an Expression Engine user just yet. Have been using Joomla (YUK!) for ages and was looking at Drupal and Expression Engine.

Would be interested in meeting people with experience using the system smile.

Oh and I’m in Dublin too smile.

I’d be interested. I’m in Belfast. It’s nice to know that there are some other users out there.

I travelled to Austin Texas to see the EE team at SXSW. I’d definitely be up for a meet.

Can I suggest this weekend?

Ben, I need to have a bit more organisation done. Based on this post, the one in Creative Ireland and personal emails, most of the people interested only have some or no experience of EE. I want to make some of the night presentational rather than a chat over pints which will the latter part of the night

I’ve launched 4 EE sites so far and would be up for meeting others interested in EE.

What was SXSW like Ben? I just watched the screencast on the EE site, sounds like a lot to look forward to in 2.0h

That’s it! I’ve finishing wi Joomla! – continuous security issues and never ending problems re: unintuitive client side updating? Have looked into (and been impressed) with EE for a long while (…i know you told me a long time ago) but felt the learning curve plus the switch would land me in stick with the ongoing workloads etc… but it’s now or never. Would be great to get a helping hand with getting to grips with EE! Phew! Feel better just fer finally saying it! Joomla? Gluck!
